How does the Puppy of the Month contest work?
Register your puppy for free, then share your entry link with friends and family to get votes. Each month, we run two separate contests based on puppy age (1-9 months and 10-18 months). The puppies with the most votes in each category win cash prizes! You get 1 free vote per day, and can purchase additional vote packages to boost your puppy's chances.
Is this contest really free to enter?
Yes! Registration is 100% free. You can enter your puppy at no cost and receive 1 free vote per day. While purchasing additional votes increases your chances of winning, it's completely optional. We believe every puppy deserves a fair shot at winning!
How are winners selected and prizes paid?
Winners are determined by total votes received during the contest period. At the end of each month, the top 3 puppies in each age category receive cash prizes: 1st Place ($75), 2nd Place ($50), and 3rd Place ($25). Prizes are paid within 7 days via PayPal or check.
Can I enter multiple competitions?
You can enter one puppy per age category per month. If you have multiple puppies of different ages, you can enter them in their respective categories. Each contest runs for a full calendar month, and you can re-enter your puppy in subsequent months as they grow!
Is my puppy's photo and information safe?
Absolutely! We use enterprise-level security (SSL encryption) to protect all photos and personal information. Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure. We never sell or share your information with third parties. You can delete your entry at any time.
What makes a winning puppy photo?
Great lighting, clear focus, and personality! Photos that capture your puppy's unique character tend to get more votes. Natural lighting works best, and make sure your puppy is the main focus. Action shots, cute expressions, and themed photos (matching monthly themes) perform especially well. Most importantly, have fun with it!

Contest Period
Monthly contests run from the 1st to the last day of each month. Voting closes at 11:59 PM UTC on the final day. (Note: All times are in UTC to ensure fairness for participants worldwide.)

- Puppy must be 1-18 months old at time of entry
- Choose appropriate age category: 1-9 months OR 10-18 months
- One entry per puppy per age category per month
- Photo must be original and owned by entrant
- Entry is completely free with no purchase necessary

- Employees of Puppy of the Month and immediate family members are ineligible
